A. Zero Balancing I covers the basic Zero Balancing protocol and the theory and methods necessary to enable you to begin practicing ZB on friends, family and healthy clients. ZB I is usually presented as a four-day program. Or, you can try a one-day Introduction to Zero Balancing.

A. Yes. Most ZB courses qualify for continuing education credits for massage therapists and acupuncturists. For other professions, please see our List of Continuing Education Approvals

A. Instructors provide a detailed Study Guide that includes highlights of the course presentations, illustrations and space to write your own notes. Zero Balancing is performed through clothing so please wear loose, comfortable layers. You may be asked to bring a massage table and stool. See specific course descriptions for recommended or required reading.

A. On each course detail page there is an option to register via an online form which is emailed to the ZBHA office and to the class registrar. An email reply will include instructions on where to send payment. You may also request more information prior to registration. Some courses have an option to register online via Eventbrite.

A. Once you register or request information, you will receive this information and can direct additional questions to the registrar or instructor. In some cases, local sponsors of ZB courses can help students arrange shared lodging and transportation.

A. Yes, the following conditions may preclude attending or being fully active in a Zero Balancing class: acute illness; recent surgery, radiation or chemotherapy; mental or emotional instability; pregnancy (especially the first 3 months); and any condition that would prevent you from exchanging hands-on work with another person. Please contact the instructor prior to registering if you have any questions about your ability to fully participate.
